Types of Body Detox
The body detoxification is the process of ridding the body of contaminated waste materials. The liver, kidney, digestive system, lungs and skin provide you with a natural detox system; heavy metals and acid are removed through your urine and sweat, and solid wastes are excreted in the form of feces. Toxic gases in the blood are removed by your lungs, and are replaced by fresh, clean oxygen.
People who consume high levels of saturated fat are prone to having clogged arteries. Cholesterol, xenobiotics and inorganic chemicals will form and build up on the walls of the organs, which will in turn decrease the efficiency of the natural detox system. If this is not fixed, the toxins will not be absorbed and removed, and will constantly circulate around the body, causing even more harm; some of these damaged include gastro-intenstinal ulcers, imbalance in stomach acidity, and the formation of tumors.

Whenever the body’s natural detox system is compromised, you need to perform a detox yourself to clean it out and cleanse the damaged organs. You can perform a detox cleanse in the comfort of your home, either with a store-bought kit or a homemade recipe, known as the “detox diet”. |
You can also purchase detox pills and supplements, but these are highly commercial and not as natural and organic; adding more manufactured chemicals to your body could render the detox inefficient.
A whole body detox can be broken down into specific programs for each organ:
Detox Diet
Detoxification includes the different steps to increase the natural ability of the lungs, skin, digestive system, liver and kidneys to naturally remove the toxins in your body. There are different methods and diets, each targeting a specific part of the body. The Detox Diet is a uniquely combines diet which appropriate for either specific organ detox or full body detox. The main components of any detox diet are vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, phytochemicals and fibers, all of which derive from organic sources.
The Detox Diet can be separated into two categories; the first is regarded as the “natural body detox”, therefore calling for only natural ingredients such as fruits and vegetables. The second type uses commercial chemicals, which could affect the quality and effectiveness of the detox, as these chemicals could actually be converted into toxins themselves.
