Toxins in our Diet
Please don’t trust anybody, especially when your favorite superstar is endorsing a fizzy cola or a good piece of hamburger. All these ad campaigns are specially designed to make you a donkey. You can never imagine how much toxins you will acquire from even a bite or gulp from these foods.
Just to give you a reminder, a multinational company was sued in an Asian country some days back as their so called highly sterilized cola was overloaded with excess amount of Arsenic that is beyond accepted level safe for human consumption.

Toxins are fed to us intentionally or unintentionally. As we have become much dependant on convenient fast foods, we are consuming surplus amount of fats, protein, preservative and additives. Fats are the source of cholesterol which is in turn the key factor for heart attack. Proteins get converted into Nitrogen and other byproducts. These may cause premature aging and the predisposing factor for gouty arthritis.

But a crime occurs when intentionally artificial additives are being used to make foods heavier or to give a better look. Most of the times, these additives can cause harm to our body and are called food adulterants. These toxins can bring premature aging; damage the kidney, the liver, our gastrointestinal system in various ways. Even these toxins can cause cancer of the liver.
Let us discuss about some common food adulterants –
Coal tar – most of the food colors contain coal tar as its ingredient. Argemone oil is added into mustard oil and other edible oils. Argemone oil is known to cause paralysis (Epidemic dropsy) and heart attack. Sand, tiny gravels are widely used to make the food grains heavier. A spray of Arsenic will make the apples look brighter and is usually done in many occasions. But it may bring about cramps in the legs and paralysis. Cadmium is used in fruit juices and soft drinks to make it fizzier. If you consume a considerable amount of these artificial drinks for a long time, you may be a victim of pain in the upper abdomen. Cadmium may damage your liver and kidney. Lead is a known additive in processed food. In the long run, lead overload may cause brain damage and mental retardation. Other chemical food adulterants like Copper, Mercury and Zinc, which may cause abdominal pain and vomiting. Artificially colored wild seeds are being used as a substitute for cumin seeds, poppy seeds and black pepper. Pesticides used in food crops can damage the stomach, intestines and liver heavily. Poultry and meat products are sometimes contaminated with bacteria, virus and fungi.
If you can't avoid these food, you will undoubtedly need a
body detox program to get rid of these toxins acquired from them.
